Formlyx Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as account details, billing details when paid plans are available, support requests, and content you create in the product. We also process the data submitted through forms that our customers build with Formlyx.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device details, referring pages, basic log data, and product interaction events needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We use information to provide and maintain Formlyx, authenticate users, deliver submissions and notifications, communicate with customers, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

When paid plans are available, we may also use information to process transactions, manage subscriptions, and handle billing support.

Customers control the forms they create and generally determine what information is collected from their end users. As between Formlyx and the customer, the customer owns the form data they collect through the service.

Formlyx stores and processes form submission data on the customer's behalf so the service can function, including receiving submissions, showing them in the dashboard, and sending configured notifications. Customers are responsible for the legal basis, notices, and permissions connected to the data they collect.

We use service providers to help operate Formlyx, such as hosting, infrastructure, database, email delivery, analytics, customer support, and payment processing providers. These providers may process information for us under their own terms and privacy commitments.

As Formlyx evolves, the specific providers we use may change. We aim to choose providers that are appropriate for a hosted SaaS product and to share data only as needed to operate the service.

Formlyx may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure product usage, and improve site performance. If analytics or marketing technologies are added, we may update this policy and any related notices to describe them in more detail.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the customer relationship.

When customers delete data or close an account, we may retain limited information for backup, logging, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or other legitimate business purposes for a reasonable period.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information we process through Formlyx. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Formlyx and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you or your end users are located. If that happens, we will rely on appropriate operational and contractual measures where needed, but customers remain responsible for determining whether Formlyx is suitable for their own compliance requirements.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information. Requests can be sent to our support contact below.

If you submitted information through a form powered by Formlyx, the business that collected your information is usually the best first point of contact because that customer controls the form and the underlying relationship.

Formlyx is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly offer the service for use by children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
